The 15th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair (ICIF) takes place from May 16 to 20 in Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center. The five-day event has seen the utilization of digital signage technology. A seamless video wall of Absen is leveraged at the booth of Shenzhen Longgang (#1D08 Hall 1) to showcase the achievements of cultural innovation and development of this district.
According to its official website, ICIF is the only national standard, international and integrated cultural fair in China, with focus on presenting China's achievements in cultural development, progress in advancing Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao cultural integration and innovation, cultural and tourism integration and integrated media development etc.
ICIF aims to drive the development of China’s cultural industry and advance the globalization of Chinese cultural products. It is crowned as The Top Cultural Fair in China. This year the fair is expected to attract a total of 2,312 government organizations, enterprises and institutions, more than 21,000 overseas exhibitors from 103 countries and regions to participate, exhibit and purchase.
Covering 542 square meters, the booth of Shenzhen Longgang is located at #1D08 in Hall 1, with an LED video wall of Absen taking the center. The 2.9mm screen has been used for playing vivid images and videos introducing Longgang and displaying its strengths for building Longgang into a “base of digital creative industries in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area”. It has also been used to live stream the performance of sand drawing, enabling more visitors to view the fantastic and poetic figures.
Surrounding the high-impact screen are poster displays demonstrating nearly 30 outstanding enterprises and organizations, among which Absen is the representative LED company. At the booth visitors can also find a wide range of cultural tourism products with local characteristics of Longgang.
Shenzhen Longgang might sound familiar to you. It is where Huawei and Absen are based. Remember the case of “Smart City Brain” of Longgang Operation Center? Absen teamed up with Huawei and engineered a 167 sqm LED display using Absen CR1.2 in a smart city project for the Longgang district of Shenzhen. With a record-breaking 103 million pixels, the 1.27mm pixel pitch LED video wall achieved the highest pixel density ever in one installation and was the largest curved NPP LED screen in the world at that time.
